“Held Between Shadows” is a quiet story about the moment between movements.
The layered forms and shadows in this piece reflect emotions that haven’t fully taken shape yet — but are already present. The branching lines speak of memory, of breath, of nature — a delicate connection to what is unseen, yet deeply felt.

As in the entire Shadow Migration series, I explore what happens in between — between steps, between choices, between inner states. Sometimes, it’s in these very shadows that we find grounding.
