“Room for the Sky” is a mixed-media painting (oil and acryl paint) measuring 50 x 50 cm (without a frame), part of my series “The Inner Home”. Framed size: 54x54x4 cm.
Sometimes we need a little more space — to breathe, to let in light, to see things differently. That is the feeling behind this painting.
The open sky became especially important to me here. It feels like a reminder that having an inner home doesn’t mean closing yourself off. There can still be room for change, for something unexpected, and for whatever is waiting to come into your life.
“The Inner Home” is a series about home as an inner state rather than a geographical place. Through translucent layers, geometric structures, and botanical forms, it explores letting go of the past, moving beyond the fear of the unknown, and finding stability in one’s own presence.
