“Memories Beneath the Surface” is a large mixed-media painting (oil and acryl paint) measuring 120 x 70 cm, part of my landscape series “The Geometry of Letting Go”.

This series is about memory. I didn’t choose autumn by chance – it shows us how beautiful it can be to let go.

In this piece, I wanted to explore how memories linger — not always visible, but present just below the surface. The reflections in the water hold quiet fragments of the past, softened by time and distance. Autumn’s golden tones speak of change, of holding on and releasing all at once. For me, it’s about that gentle space where remembrance and letting go can exist together.

With this series, I make my own landscapes of memory visible – somewhere between light and form, nature and memory.

The artwork will be shipped without a frame and will be ready to hang.
