“Fragments of Belonging” comes from my Shadow Migration series and grows out of my search for a sense of belonging in times of change.

In this painting, I feel how everything is slightly shifting — memories, emotions, fragments of the past — not fully gone, but not entirely here either. They overlap with the present and stay in motion, without settling into a clear form.

The contrast between warm and cool tones reflects this inner tension for me — between fear and hope, closeness and distance. At the same time, there is something quiet and grounding in the presence of abstract natural elements. They remind me of a connection that is always there, even when everything else feels uncertain.

For me, this work holds a space where I can return to balance. It’s not about finding a final answer, but about allowing a sense of belonging to slowly emerge from within.

The painting will be shipped without a frame and is ready to hang.
