“A Place Open to the Sky” is a mixed-media diptych (oil and acryl paint) measuring 50 x 100 cm (without a frame), part of my series “The Inner Home”. Framed size: 54x108x4 cm.

These two paintings began with two feelings that may seem opposite, but for me belong together: the need to feel grounded and the need to remain open.
I don’t think we have to choose between security and freedom. Perhaps the strongest sense of home comes when we carry both within us — something that gives us roots, but also enough trust to welcome change and let life in.
That is what connects these two works for me. One holds, the other opens. And somewhere between them is the place I think of as home.

“The Inner Home” is a series about home as an inner state rather than a geographical place. Through translucent layers, geometric structures, and botanical forms, it explores letting go of the past, moving beyond the fear of the unknown, and finding stability in one’s own presence.

The artwork will be shipped framed and is ready to hang.
